List of Member Organisations
Originally membership of EBU was limited to national umbrella organizations but gradually this scope proved to be too narrow. In 1990 the constitution was adapted so that membership now includes:
- National umbrella organizations such as the Deutsche Buddhistische Union (Germany) or the Unione Buddhista Italiana (Italy).
- Organizations that are active throughout Europe such as Friends of the Western Buddhist Order.
- Organizations that are active on a national or regional level such as Le Bouddhisme Reiyukai (France).
Presently, EBU only has full membership and the majority of its members are large and well-established organizations.
